Java Plum Mimosa
A simple yet elegant sparkling cocktail featuring a beautiful magenta color and a fruity yet dry mouthfeel.
How to make a Java Plum Mimosa
Step 1: Gather your ingredients. You will need:
Sparkling white wine (I prefer a prosecco or an alcohol-removed sparkling white if you prefer a mocktail version).
The beauty of a mimosa is that you can add any number of flavors to sparkling wine! I personally used Mōhala Expressions Java Plum Simple Syrup for the version pictured above, but believe it would be just as amazing with Liliko’i, Calamansi, Strawberry Guava, Dragonfruit, or Surinam Cherry.
Step 2: Build Your Cocktail.
Into a champagne glass, pour 1oz of your choice of Mōhala Expressions Simple Syrups.
Top off the glass with sparkling white wine.
(Optional) Garnish with an edible flower, such as West Indian Jasmine or Bougainvillea.
